Sunrise Vinyasa

Monday, 6:30 am

Energize the body and mind while greeting the sun and the opportunities of a new day. Beginning with pranayama (breath work), you will be guided through mindful stretching, sun salutation and warrior flows, core work, and meditation. The body will be invigorated and the mind quieted by this moderately paced, Vinyasa style class, allowing you to meet the day’s challenges with peace and grace.  

Level 2, 3

Gentle Vinyasa

Monday, 10 am

A gentle yoga practice of mindful movement, attention to breath and self awareness. For yogis looking for a softer, nurturing, slow-paced, well-supported and relaxing practice. Props will be offered to make poses accessible.

Yoga Core

Monday, 2 pm

Resistance Training for the Young at Heart

A kinder, gentler version our our Yoga Core class. We will explore postures that focus on the primary muscles that stabilize the "core" of the body, and that strengthen and stretch the abdomen, back, buttocks, hamstrings, and hip flexors. Build muscular and emotional energy and balance tension in the areas of the hips and lower back.

Meditation

Monday, 6:30 pm

Practice sitting, walking and guided meditation in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hahn as well as discussing the joys and challenges of practicing mindfulness. All levels are welcome and instruction is provided for beginners. Donations, if able.

Vinyasa 

Tuesday, 9 am

This class is a flowing style, linking your breath to your movement. There are many options given to relax or advance your practice in each class. Everyone is encouraged to do their yoga practice at whatever level that may be at each moment, with no judgment to one's self or others. This is done by tuning inward and listening to your own body and what you truly need.

Hips and Hamstrings

A deep release for the hips, hamstrings and lower back, this gentle yoga class will focus on 

improving mobility and flexibility while strengthening the gluteal and leg muscles that support our entire hip joint.

Kundalini

Tuesday, 7 pm

An uplifting blend of spiritual and physical practices, Kundalini Yoga incorporates movement, dynamic breathing techniques, meditation, and the chanting of mantras. The goal is to build physical vitality and increase consciousness.

Chair Yoga

Wednesday, 2 pm

This gentle yoga class is designed to meet the needs of those experiencing limited range of motion due to injury or aging. Using the breath and gentle movement we will incorporate poses that increase core strength and improve balance and flexibility. All poses are practiced either sitting in a chair or using a chair for balance while standing.​

Hatha Yoga

Thursday, 9 am

This class concentrates on physical health and mental well-being. Hatha yoga uses bodily postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation techniques (dyana) with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind.

Advanced Practices

Thursday, 6:30 pm

Achieve a higher level of awareness of your body’s energy system through a combination of pranayama, asanas, mudras and meditation. For those who enjoy a flowing yoga class and have some yoga experience with sun salutations, standing poses, forward bends, twist, backbends and inversions. Extended posture sequences offer advanced practice in coordinating strength, flexibility and balance. Take your yoga practice to a new level and experience a complete workout of the mind, body and soul.

Align & Flow

Saturday, 9 am

Empower and expand your practice by refining the poses you know while working toward more challenging poses in a supportive environment. This class will include Sun Salutations, a mix of foundational poses, and sequences that build strength, flexibility, and knowledge to work towards more advanced poses. For experienced yogis looking to expand their personal practice. ($10 with class pass; $15 drop-in)

Levels 2 & 3

Recovery Yoga

Sunday, 9:30 am

A regular yoga practice brings ease to the body-mind system and can be a key ingredient on the path of recovery from addiction. The physical practice of yoga, along with breath practices, serves to detoxify the body and to calm the mind. This class aims to unite those treading a path of recovery, in any form. Yogis of all levels are welcome.  This class is not affilated with any faith or recovery program. 

Suggested donation: $10

Wondering which classes are for you?

 

Mixed-Levels classes are suitable for beginners, masters and everyone in between. 

Level 1 classes are designed for those who have had no previous exposure to yoga.

 

Level 2 classes are designed for the experienced beginner looking to become more familiar with the poses and breath.

 

Level 3 classes are designed for those looking to deepen their daily, personal yoga practice on and off the mat.
