Healing Through Movement: Chair Yoga

Please allow enough time to check in and arrive on your mat before the class is scheduled to begin.
This gentle yoga class is for people of all ages experiencing limited range of motion. Using the breath and gentle movement we will incorporate poses that increase core strength and improve balance and flexibility. All poses are practiced either sitting in a chair or using a chair for balance while standing. Our classes are intentionally small. Chair Yoga classes are limited to seven participants.
Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.

A Few Things to Know
Yoga is usually practiced in bare feet. If you prefer not to have your feet exposed, yoga socks or slippers with anti-slip grips are required.
Wear comfortable clothing – yoga pants are not required!
You may wish to bring water and your own strap and blocks. Chairs will be provided.
Yoga experience isn’t necessary: this is yoga practice. We come to class for our own individual growth, letting go of judgment and competition.
